RAGBRAI 2011 New Primal Wear Jerseys

The picture below shows our new Dream Team biking jerseys donated by Primal Wear. The team is very proud to wear them. RAGBRAI riders can spot us easier and offer their support and appreciation for all we do. Thanks Primal Wear! Click on the picture to see a larger version.

Dream Team in the Media in 2011

Two items this week feature members and mentors of the Dream Team.You may enjoy each or them.

KCCI in Des Moines produced a short piece about the  Dream Team that aired on Tuesday July 19. You can view the video by going to the KCCI web site.

The other item is the release of "A Million Spokes" DVD and program airing on the Documentary Channel the week of July 17. This program was created from video captured in 2009. Near the end of the program, several Dream Team riders and mentors are interviewed. You can learn more about the DVD and program by visiting one site to order the DVD or going to Facebook to learn more about the project. You can also see the movie trailer on YouTube. The trailer does not include Dream Team members.

It was an uphill victory

On the last day of RAGBRAI 2010 the riders found out why we train to prepare for hard work. The famous Potter Hill thirteen miles outside of Dubuque challenged all riders. Most of our riders made the climb without walking. There were great smiles at the top and then again 13 miles later at the river. It was a great RAGBRAI again.
